This image was inspired by the vernacular cottages found in rural Ireland, built on land where generations have lived for many years. The sky is typical of night time on islands off the west coast of Ireland where there is little light pollution and it is ideal for star gazing.
I made this entirely myself from beginning to end, from the initial idea, through painting each layer on the litho stone, processing and proofing each colour, to printing the edition.
